Fouras - Le Jardin de Rose, Romagne

 Monday 14 April

Not much to report today as we left Fouras in the morning and having decided during last evening that we would rather find somewhere inland next, we travelled across some lovely countryside to a small privately-owned campsite.  We came past fields and fields of crops including many of oil seed rape.  Sometimes seeing a patchwork

and sometimes bordering the roads.

Le Jardin de Rose is in the garden of an English couple who came out here 5 years ago. They are finding there is plenty of work for them on their piece of land and enjoy doing B&B and meeting the campers.

Tuesday 15 April

A few photos of Le Jardin de Rose.  This is Barry and Min's house leading to their garden.

Here we are with our washing on their line!
View from our van.

A seating area in the middle of the lawn

that has pretty fairy lights at night. If you fancy it, it is on the market for 235000 euros!!

This morning our walk took us along our lane - not seeing any humans, but these were happy to be our friends ...

Then through the village of Romagne

Note to Cornerstone AV team - good job we don't have to go up this staircase to the gallery ...

Passing a pretty corner with a picnic area
A close-up of the little hut!!!  Yes - it says 'Chalet de Necessite'!  I looked inside to check, and yes that's what it is!

Another lovely place to visit on a windy day.
